One Room Challenge – Week 6 {The Reveal}

One Room Challenge – Week 5
The finish line for the One Room Challenge is one week away and the room is really starting to come together.

This was a busy week in the room – here’s what we accomplished:
- Walls painted
- Carpet installed
- Old table transformed
- Media shelves arrived and assembled
- Stereo components arrived but mostly still in boxes
- Couch moved in to the room

One Room Challenge Week 3
It’s Week 3 of the One Room Challenge and there’s not a lot of visual progress to show you in our spare room, however, that doesn’t mean things aren’t getting done.
One big decision we made this week was flooring.
We decided to go with a low-pile carpet in a chocolate brown with a small square pattern. We feel carpeting is a good choice here because my husband plans to listen to a lot of music in this room and a hard surface wouldn’t offer the right acoustics.
The second big decision I’m still contemplating is the wall color. (more…)
