Hello Sun!
We finally saw some sunshine yesterday and it was so wonderful!
There is still a lot of moisture in the air so it was very humid and sticky, but it was glorious nonetheless.

A Little Grace
Happy Belated Mother’s Day to all you moms! I hope you had a wonderful day.
I spent the day resting and relaxing — it was just what I needed. My sweet daughter served me breakfast and gave me a book and a poem she made just for me.
My son no longer makes me home-made gifts now that he’s in middle school, but he still gives me great hugs and tells me he loves me so I can’t ask for more than that. Plus, flowers. They know how much I love flowers, so this bunch of hydrangeas makes me happy. (more…)

10-Minute Spring Craft {Daffodils in a Tea Cup}
If there is one thing I love about spring it is seeing all of the flowers pop up and bloom. Of course, most of the country won’t be seeing any real flowers in their yards for several weeks but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some spring indoors!
As you know, I love quick and easy crafts and this one is about as quick and easy as they come. It’s my 10-minute spring daffodils in a tea cup craft and it cost next to nothing.

This & That {Birthdays, Flowers, My Front Door and an App}
I’m breathing a bit of a sigh of relief today.
Last week was so busy and crazy I hardly knew if I was coming or going.
My youngest turned 10 which meant lots of special treatment and therefore, a lot to do!
Her birthday fell on a school day so we took her to her favorite restaurant for dinner that evening. Then, on Friday night she had a birthday party at home with 7 of her closest girlfriends. (more…)
