Valentine’s Day Inspiration
Love is in the air!
Yesterday, I shared some beautiful Valentine’s projects with the Sweetest Valentine Round- Up and today I have even more inspiration for you!
I am co-hosting a Valentine Inspiration Party with several of my blogging friends. Even better, we invited a few more friends to to join in to make it extra inspirational.
We have over 35 Valentine’s Day projects, crafts, recipes and more.
Let’s get started!

Recycled Cabinet Doors & The Best of DIY Link Party
When we remodeled our kitchen this summer we were left with a few unusual “leftovers.”
As I mentioned, we didn’t completely gut our kitchen, but we did re-configure a few cabinets. As a result, I have four drawers and about 8 cabinet door/drawer fronts laying around.
My husband thought they were ready for the junk pile when they didn’t sell on Craig’s List but my wheels were already turning. Today I’m sharing my recycled cabinet doors DIY project:
Who doesn’t love a chalk board, right?
This couldn’t be an easier way to use an old cabinet door. You can paint the “frame” a color, do nothing, or — what I did — add a little antiquing wax to liven up the old stain.
It’s so easy to just paint a little chalk board paint in the center to make a cute little chalk board. So simple! As you know, I love projects that are quick and easy.
I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, which is good because I have a few more doors sitting around taking up space! I’ll be sharing them soon.

Spring Inspiration
My kids are officially on spring break as of yesterday afternoon and this year we have decided to stay at home instead of going skiing.
I just couldn’t stomach the thought of purposely going to cold, snowy weather after the abnormally cold and icy winter we’ve experienced here in North Texas.
I have spring on my mind and I am ready for it to make a real appearance!
And, who couldn’t get inspired after seeing all of the beautiful spring inspiration, decor and projects from Monday’s Mega Link Party?
Here are just a few that caught my eye:
Isn’t the heather just beautiful that Faded Charm grows in her yard? She shared a peak of her backyard with a lovely little vignette. I adore that old French basket and the vintage watering can.
Jennifer, at Town and Country Living shows how easy and beautiful a simple tulip arrangement is to bring in to your own space.
Don’t tulips just scream “spring?”
I am always swooning over the pretty nests that bloggers use to decorate with during the spring. Where in the world do they get them?
Yvonne at Stone Gable showed us how to make our own! Can you believe she made that lovely little nest?
I’m definitely giving it a try.
You can find more inspiration by visiting the link party — we had so many wonderful things shared that it’s impossible to re-cap them all.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
