Bathroom Progress {One Room Challenge Week 3}

It’s Week 3 of the One Room Challenge hosted by Calling it Home. I started a week late so this is only my second post, but it is week 3 so we are halfway through the challenge. If you missed last week’s post, you can find it here.

I’d like to be able to tell you that everything is moving right along.  The fact is, however, I painted my bathroom this week, and I don’t like it at all.

The beautiful light french gray with blue undertones paint that I chose reads as powder baby blue on my walls.

The wall on the right looks like the color I wanted it to look, but the wall with the door and the rest of the room reads powder blue — particularly when the lights are off — in which case it’s very, very bright light blue.

My daughter thinks the powder blue is pretty.  And, if that’s what I was going for, I would agree that it’s a nice color.  It’s just not what I wanted.  And, my husband hates baby blue so it’s just not going to work. (more…)

Bathroom Makeover Take 2 {One Room Challenge}

If you are a follower of my blog, you will recognize this inspiration board.  This post and it’s contents will seem  familiar.

You’re probably asking yourself lots of questions:  Didn’t she post this earlier this year?  Haven’t we already seen this?  Didn’t she already do a bathroom makeover in a farmhouse style?

Yes, yes and no. (more…)

Share it One More Time Inspiration Party #51

Happy Saturday, friends!  I am so happy it’s the weekend — things are busy, busy, busy with the school year now in full swing and the hub of all the activities in which my kids are active.  Life is hectic around here and sometimes I don’t know if I’m coming or going.

And, as a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to step down from co-hosting this weekly link party.  It has truly been an honor to be a part of this inspiration party — to get to know more of you talented bloggers who link up each week and to partner with this caring and creative Share it One More Time team.

Going forward, I will post a link on my sidebar to Tammy and Barb’s blogs as they continue to co-host this party so if you forget and come here in error, you can easily click over to One More Time Events or The Everyday Home to link up your projects/decor/recipes.

Thank you so much for coming here every Saturday — I have truly enjoyed being a part of this group!

Now — let’s get started on this week’s party!

Share it One More Time Inspiration Party #41

Happy Saturday, friends!

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer!

I have been trying very hard to spend mine with my kids — while also trying to juggle multiple other things.  I promise, I will spend some time soon updating you on projects that have been going on in and around my house as well as new things happening in my small business that stems from this blog.

It has been so busy, crazy and at times more than I can handle, but I do have some projects that I am excited to share.  But, honestly, I am putting my family first this summer.  My son is entering high school in the fall and it has hit me hard that our days/years with him  wanting to do family activities is getting limited.  Time is so precious!

On that note, let’s get started with the reason you are here today– it’s time for our weekly inspiration party!

Welcome back to the Share It One More Time Inspiration Party. The party starts on Saturday morning and links can be added through Tuesday and the party goes on all week long! If you are new here, many of our favorite DIY, foodie and decor bloggers link up their latest design projects to inspire you. You’ll also find links to the co-hosts recent posts below. I’d love to have you visit me and all of our hosts during the week for more of what we have to share, but for today…let’s get started with our weekly picks and link ups!
