Happy 4th of July weekend, friends!  We have a surprisingly busy weekend here at the L&L household, but don’t worry, some of those plans include relaxing in our pool and grilling burgers on our patio.  I hope your weekend is full of friends, family, good food and time for re-energizing and relaxing!

Hello Everyone – Barb here with The Everyday Home, and I am so happy to be your party co-host this week.  As I write this post, I am sitting in a hotel room literally a few miles down the road from our home.  Why you ask? A mini staycation you ask? 
Hardly.  We are refinishing our hardwood floors and the smells and fumes were getting the best of me and really having a bad affect on my thyroid.   So, we are having a little get-away for about three nights.  Here is the process…
