How to Make Your Own Wood Tool Box

I have long admired cute little wood tool boxes.

So many bloggers have incorporated them in to their decor in such creative and beautiful ways.  I really wanted one for my own.

If you saw my fall tablescape, then you saw my new little tool box:

Can you believe I made it myself?!

When I attended the Haven blog conference this past summer, the Home Depot provided several attendees with a DIY tool box kit.  I was lucky enough to get this one for myself!

It comes unfinished but all the holes are pre-drilled.  Just follow the directions and you’ll have your box built in just a few minutes!

Paint or stain it and you’ll have a cute tool box of your own!

I painted mine with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Graphite.  Then I waxed with AS dark wax and buffed.

I love how it looks decked out for fall.  Now, I’m anxious to decorate it for Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Have a wonderful Monday!

By the way, I hope you’ll go visit a few of my favorite blog friends.  I love sharing their pages with you and hope you’ll love them to!
