May Day & 31 Days of Gratitude

Do you remember May baskets?  When I was young, my mom and I used to make May baskets out of paper (we just made a simple little cone with a handle) and then filled them with a few small treats and put them on a friend’s door.  We would ring the door bell and run quickly so the friend wouldn’t know who left the goodies. The basket and the treats weren’t fancy or big – but just a fun way of welcoming the month of May.
