What Did We Do Before Pinterest?
Yes, I’m still on the topic of Pinterest. I can’t help myself.
Today I saw this tip about removing hairspray from the bathroom.

What girl/woman doesn’t have this struggle? I’m going to give it a try and see what happens. Sometimes these tips seem so super-cool that they couldn’t possibly work.
I’ve shared some of the Pinterest tips I’ve tried in the past here on my blog. Once I blogged about kitchen lid organization and once about keeping your bathroom shower clean. Both ideas worked well.
I’m currently trying out this tip:

It’s about re-growing green onions from the ones you buy at the grocery store and cut all the way up to the white part of the onion.
I saved my used onions in a little egg cup on the window sill in my laundry room several weeks ago. Some of them were cut pretty short, too. (The hubs likes to eat the white part.)
And, honestly, I forgot about them quite a few times. But, I watered them whenever I remembered and here’s what they look like today:
It worked! I think I’ll try planting them in the garden and see what happens.
These cool household tips are just one of the many things I love about Pinterest. You can get creative, handy ideas that you may have never thought of before. Heck, this is what I love about the entire Internet! There’s a wealth of knowledge and information right at your fingertips just for the asking.
As a result, I’m not sure my kids even know what an Encylcopedia is. My parents used to say, “Look it up in an encyclopedia.” Today, we tell our kids, “Google it.” lol Yes, times have changed. And, I’m just old enough to really feel that last statement.
I saw this pin the other day and it made me laugh.
Good God Almighty, I hope this never happens! I might actually have to leave my computer or worse yet, my iPhone. It might as well be the end of the world.
Due to stolen content I cannot provide a full RSS feed. I work hard to provide fresh, original content and, unfortunately, there are sites that like to steal from honest, hard-working bloggers. Thanks for understanding!
