Almond Bark Pretzels {11 Pipers Piping}
If there is one thing that is an absolute holiday tradition around our house, it is making almond bark dipped pretzels. My kids absolutely love them!
I don’t know if it’s the salty mixed with sweet flavor or the fact that they’re fun for the kids to make all by themselves…whatever, they are always a “must make” around here each and every year.
This year, I’m sharing the recipe as a part of a special 12 Days of Christmas Tour:
It is Day 6, the final day of the tour and I am sharing my version of 11 Pipers Piping.
You know the song, right?
Sing it with me! (Counting down from 12…)
12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords a Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids a Milking
7 Swans a Swimming
6 Geese a Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree!!!!
Okay, so it’s a little dorky to conduct a sing-along, but don’t we all know the song?
And, what exactly does 11 Pipers Piping have to do with my almond bark pretzels?
This year I made them using the large stick pretzels so they look a little like flutes or pipes.
There are 11 of them, one for each Piper.
They are soooo easy to make. I can hardly even call this a recipe but here it is…you’ll need pretzels, a package of almond bark and some sprinkles.
Directions:
Melt about 3 cubes (or more) of almond bark according to package directions.
Dip the pretzels in the almond bark (I had to drizzle it with a spoon to cover the large pretzels)
Sprinkle with festive baking sprinkles.
Let cool for about 5 minutes.
That’s it. Really.
I told you …. SOOOO easy!
