My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes
Time is just moving right along and my kids startled me a little when they mentioned their Thanksgiving break is right around the corner! Right around the corner? How did that happen?!
Thanksgiving is almost here so that means I need to start grocery shopping and getting the house ready for guests! It also means getting my favorite Thanksgiving recipes ready!
Every year we host my husband’s family for the big feast. They are all local so we don’t have anyone staying with us and everyone brings food so I don’t make the entire meal. In that regard, it’s about as low-stress as it can get for the host which is so nice.
Over the years I have made the turkey several ways. I have just made a breast (when not cooking for a crowd), I have brined the entire bird, I have not brined it and made it my mother’s way and last year, I tried a method I learned from the TV show, The Chew. I didn’t follow it to the letter (I modified it slightly) and it was delicious! I blogged about it here.
