Hi Julie! Just visiting your website for the first time and your home is lovely! The paint colors are all very soft. Could you share with me the trim color in your house. I notice it is not stark white. Looks rather antique but not yellow. Thanks for sharing!.

Thank you, Kate! The trim color is called “Seed Pearl” and it is found at Kwal Paints. It was originally manufactured by a different company that was eventually bought out by Kwal. I just found their site on the Internet and it looks like Kwal is owned by Sherwin Williams so maybe they will have the color on file? Here’s the link: http://brands.sherwin-williams.com/kwal/
      Hope that helps!

HI, Julie! What a wonderful site. So encouraging and beautiful and warm! Your colors and all of your furnishings are beautiful and tasteful. We are coming down to Texas as well. I married a Texan 40 years ago and for some reason, he didn’t understand that I did not understand his comment 2 years ago about,”wanting to go home”, especially after I told him he was home! I realize now that Chicago is not his home. Darn! Sadly, only 1 adult child of 5 is in Texas.
So you are helping me choose my style! I need to have your Dining Room become mine! Where can you guide me for those chairs!! I have a round table almost 6 feet round… Thank you!

      Hi Chriss!
I hope you will enjoy living in Texas! What part of the state are you moving to?
Thanks for your kind compliments. I’m glad you like my chairs! I bought the whole table and chairs set on Craig’s list and then reupholstered and slipcovered the chairs myself. The checked fabric is from Calico Corners..it’s called Checkmate and the color is acorn.
I hope you’ll stop by again soon!
      Take care,
      Julie
