Foyer Table Vignette

It never fails.  After Christmas, I leave several spaces empty or partially “un-decorated” because I  1) can’t remember what I had there before or  2) feel like I need something new and fresh to put there.

I think I feel this way every single year about my little foyer table.

An antique cabinet styled with rustic touches.

This year I made only a few minor adjustments to my foyer table vignette.

I bought a new chippy urn and a cute little preserved boxwood topiary.

Faux lavender looks rustic and charming in this chippy urn nestled next to the cow print and cowboy spur.

I love how they look on this table.  I’m so happy I made the investment.

A cute little boxwood topiary adds some color and interest to this foyer table vignette.

The key to making this vignette work was getting the right scale and height to go along with the lamp that has been there for quite awhile.

I’m not ready to part with the lamp yet so whatever I found had to provide some balance.

The urn with the faux lavender turned out to be perfect.

A preserved boxwood topiary and rustic touches make a quaint and pretty entry vignette.

The urn is from Pottery Barn and the little preserved boxwood topiary is from the grocery store of all places!

I pulled the faux lavender out of my hanging door basket so now it’s time to find something new for that.  Sometimes I have to rob from Peter to pay Paul.  Do you do that too?

An antique marble top chest fits perfectly on this small wall.

One space down, a few more to go.

I’ll be sharing more re-styled areas soon!

Wishing you a beauty-filled day,

    Hi Julie,
Pretty vignette…we had an “incident” with our foyer table…my husband was helping me undecorate the Christmas decor..and bumped the table sending everything to smithereen heaven! Now on the search for replacements…

That table is absolutely beautiful and I love the faux lavender. I didn’t even know they made faux lavender but I am going to look for it because I can’t seem to grow it. Thank you.

Thanks, Patty! Fyi…I bought the faux lavender at Hobby Lobby. It comes as a bunch, not individual stems. I have two bunches in my urn.
      Have a great weekend!

This is exactly what I needed to see. 🙂

My entry way chest has been empty, except the lamp, for weeks. I seem to really be lacking inspiration right now. Thanks for the inspiration.
