You’ve probably noticed something about all of my seasonal mantel changes…
they always include my arched window and my tall candle holders.
Why?
Because I like them there and don’t feel compelled to find a different home for them. I bought them specifically for their height and scale for my mantel space so they’ll be there for awhile.
It’ seems very un-blogger like to keep using the same stuff in the same place but I’m okay with that.
Do you do that, too?
I simply adjust, move and tuck other festive things here and there to freshen things up for each season.
I’ve done it again with my Easter mantel.
I kept things pretty simple this year.
Simple seems to be my word lately.
Speaking of simple…this Easter bunting from Target is cute and no-fuss.
(By the way, it was only $5! )
I’m also over the moon for my little silhouette plates I made for next to nothing and they took me literally a few minutes to make.
I’ll share more on those later this week.
Are you decorating for Easter yet?
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Your mantel is perfect! Yes, I reuse and retuck things too. That’s the fun of decorating to me.
By the way, I like the symmetry.
Thanks, Stacey!
Your mantel looks beautiful with the arched window and tall candle sticks….I love how you added seasonal touches here and there. The yellow tulips and cute plates are perfect for your Easter mantel.
If I had a beautiful arched window like that, I would probably never take it down too!! Keep using it your mantel looks great!
I have just started following your blog and love it. Perfect mantel, I do the same with decorating. Have a great Wednesday.
Love the arched window and I too would just decorate around it . Cute mantel
Very sweet Easter mantel arrangement! Love the aqua blue Mason jars w/tulips. Yes, I have a few items that seem to have a permanent home–their own spot–& I just decorate around them. Some tall footed mercury glass candle hurricanes I got at an incredible savings several years ago at Hobby Lobby. I change the colors of the candles inside to go with the rest of the seasonal décor. Also a couple tall ornamental birdhouse churches, also from Hobby Lobby. They only leave when the Christmas village comes out. Blessings!
I don’t have a mantel but have a table in front of our front window that I like to decorate. Right now it has a wire tree I bought several years ago from Country Living magazine, I think, with little Easter eggs hing on it. Bunny statues placed around the base. Soon my pitcher and bowl full of tulips will take center stage on the table. I get compliments from neighbors who keep track of what’s in my window.
Oh yes, I have things that are pretty “permanent” and work around them…I think that is great as you change up the look so beautifully…I love those silhouette plates!!!…Such an adorable and creative Easter mantel Julie!!
As always, beautiful. I love this b/c it’s not too cluttered w/ every Easter decoration you own. It feels so fresh. Sometimes less is more.
