Christmas Decorating: Vintage Wash Tub

Remember my cute vintage wash tub?

She’s all decked out for the holidays.

Yep.  I’ve started my Christmas decorating.

I didn’t do anything fancy, but the bright pops of red and green and the fresh plants make me happy.

It took just a few minutes to switch out my fall decor with a few simple winter plants and some metal holiday decorations I already had.

The plants (cyclamen and ivy) will need a minimum of care over the winter.

When Christmas is over, I can exchange the holiday decorations with something else.

My Christmas decor is just starting to take shape, but it’s a good start.

How about you?  Have you started decorating yet?

Nope I haven’t. Truth be told I haven’t switched from Halloween to Thanksgiving. I am so behind it ain’t even funny. I love the tree that you added to the tub. Is it something that can be purchased? I need all the help I can get! and more. ;)

    • Claudia, I bought the little tree several years ago in Canton, Texas — a huge flea/craft/antique market. It was sold by a Mexican iron vendor — something we see a lot of here in Texas but don’t know if there’s anything like that where you are.
