Inspiring Pallet Projects {Favorite Things Friday}

If you’ve been browsing DIY blogs and/or Pinterest over the last couple of years, you are bound to run in to something that was made using old pallets.

I was driving through the Lowe’s parking lot the other day and spotted a whole stack of them.
It got me thinking about all the cool pallet projects I’ve seen
and how much I want to tackle one some day.

I’m not sure what I would make for my home, but there are so many great ideas!

Some of them look pretty easy…even non-DIYers might be able to handle them.

Then there are some that look totally overwhelming.
But, the blogger who made this love seat (Donna at Funky Junk Interiors) claims
this project is as easy as pie!
To be honest, I find some of them a little intimidating.
But, I absolutely adore so many of them!

There’s something about the rustic wood nestled among the bright pops of color and modern touches that is just so fun and funky looking.
I also love the idea of using materials that don’t cost a thing.

Free materials and a lot of imagination.

Is there anything that cannot be made from a pallet?

It sure doesn’t seem like it!

I have even more pallet projects on my Pinterest board.  Feel free to take a look!
If you want to see more great projects (non-pallet related) be sure to check out the final day of
the “Getting Creative at Home” blog tour.

LOVE all these ideas. I especially love the “Believe there is good in the world” sign. Maybe someday I’ll actually make that.
