It’s the last Monday morning of the school year and all is quiet.
Just me and the dogs watching squirrels and taking pictures.
I’m enjoying the morning. It’s quiet and cool — very un-Texas-like weather for this time of year.
I love it!
This back porch is about to become a hub of activity.
Come Friday, it will be full of kids, towels and pool toys. And, some grown-ups, too. We’re hosting a good old-fashioned Texas barbecue!
The kids can hardly wait!
Today, I’m enjoying the peace and quiet.
It probably won’t come again until the end of August.
