My All-Time Favorite Movie House {Favorite Things Friday}

A week or so ago, the movie, “Something’s Gotta Give” was on TV.  Of course, I watched it even though I’ve seen it a million times.

Yes, the movie is good, but the real reason I keep watching it over and over is because I am absolutely, positively in love with the house.

Oh my God!!  That house!
I could move in today.  Leave all my stuff behind, hop in an airplane and move right in.

I’d take my family, of course.
I was going to feature all of my favorite movie houses today.

But, I couldn’t show JUST one picture of this beauty.
It deserved a post all it’s own.

I’m sure you’ve seen these pictures all over Pinterest and the Internet.  Or my favorite place to see them all in one place, “Hooked on Houses.”

I really never tire of seeing it.

Sigh.  I love the whole thing.
Happy Friday, y’all!

    You know, I never thought if it before, but it almost looks like Ina Garten’s house…is it?

    Hi Julie, I also completely adore this house. Not to mention the movie as well and I’ve probably seen it 50 times or more, lol! An added benefit to the perfect house would be living on the beach/ Just the right amount of perfection! Diana

    I watched to movie yet again when it was shown on TV too. (and I DVR’d it so I can watch it yet again!) I really paid attention to the house this time because I know so many bloggers love it. It really is a beautiful house!

    Hi Julie, I am a brand new follower, well, I mean seriously how could I not follow someone who loves that house as much as I do?! LOL! It is to die for, makes me wish I had lots of money and could afford to live out on the Island in New York. I’ve been out there lots, being originally from NYC and it is stunningly beautiful… and the ocean!!! OMGosh! :D
    Nice to meet you and lookin’ forward to many more homey visits!
    Hugs,
