Potting Bench Inspiration

Every spring I start thinking about my yard and my garden and inevitably,
all that thinking leads to dreams of potting benches and potting sheds.

There are so many styles and ways to create a potting bench without spending a lot of money so
I really have no excuse for not having one!

This one is made out of all re-claimed materials – even an old fireplace mantel!

These photos make me want to get outside and start digging.
How fun is the garage version? Would make a very good mom hideout!

I love the idea of repurposing an old side table. How do you think those stand up against the elements?
You would swoon over my parents potting shed. It should be in BHG!

  3. I had one at my last house that hubby built. Truthfully, I didn’t ever use it to pot things because I prefer to pot near the place where something will be placed. Just to keep from carrying the heavy pots. :) I loved it for decoration though.

Beautiful images. Spent the past 2 night covering my potted plants because it was freezing here in TX. Today made up for it. Can’t wait to get out there and do some planting.

Love all those potting benches, but I think my favorites are the Pottery Barn and Southern Living versions. I pinned the green Southern Living one because I think that would also make a great side bar for entertaining on the deck. Great photos and ideas. Thanks for sharing.
    Have a lovely Easter.
