My house is not "done." And, honestly, I'm not sure if it ever will be, but I will say I'm more pleased with it with each project I tackle.
My constant goal is to create spaces that reflect the personalities of everyone that lives here. We are not formal people, so even our formal spaces have a casual and livable feel. I'm a big believer in rooms that function and make people feel welcome.
Welcome to our home! I'm so glad you're here!

Your home is beautiful....you've done a great job!
ReplyDeleteI love the paint color in your living room and having trouble finding the right blue for my master bedroom. Could you tell me the manufacturer and paint color? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteJanet, the paint color is called, "Valley Hills" and it's by Behr (Home Depot). I'll warn you that the paint chip looks nothing like it does on my walls. It's not even a true blue, it's actually gray but reads as blue in my home because of the amount of lighting and the direction my room faces. Hope this helps! Good luck finding the perfect color!
DeleteI love your home, feels to me as very warmly place. Decorations, hues and colors are great mixed with each other. You said that You are not a professional decorator I wan't agree with this :) The only difference between profs and You is that profs usually have very clean, cold spaces very minimalistic ones. Good for singles and those that spend at home no more then few hours a day. SO I prefer your style :) I'm up to now designing my own apartment (my first apartment) so I'm excited so much. I Have done bedroom, kitchen and saloon and now having doing bathroom. Crazy, my bathroom is too small, no space for bath only shower, decided to keep in white so it would feel much bigger then actually is. The problem is that great items that I find for example blue bathroom sink this beautiful sink from Kraus I can not find it anywhere in Europe heh we mostly have only white sinks :( In US You have so much great staff for decorating and stylizing your home :) Importing makes so expensive ...sorry I have strayed from the topic.
ReplyDeleteVery nice home You have, well done, thanks for sharing photos :)
Lovely home.
