Spring Place Setting

I love the colors of spring.  It’s all so fresh and pretty, don’t you think?

I found a few spring things for my table and thought I’d take them for a test drive to see if they’re keepers or if they need to go back to the store.

This is just a quick try at mixing it all together.

I like it.  Not theme-y but yet, very spring.

I bought the chargers at Pier 1 with a gift card I got for Christmas.  I think they’re so cute!

The pink plates are new, too.  I found them at Home Goods.  They only had two, but I think they’ll be cute mixed and matched with other plates I already own.  And, I absolutely love them with my brown Spode Delamere plates.

I bought the green napkins on clearance at Target last year.  I think they look good with my new table runner from Home Goods — $12.99 y’all!

I have to point out another bargain.  See the egg stand?  Five bucks at Wisteria last spring!!  I’ve waited all year to use it!

Now I’m in the mood for a delicious Easter dinner!

Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, Stacey, and I still only have one chair done! It’s been so crazy busy around here I haven’t had time to work on them. I’m hoping after Spring Break I can go nuts and get them done!!

Hi, Julie! I’m your next-door neighbor in the comment section of this week’s Tablescape Thursday! I’m glad to see you joining the group! I saw that this is your first time linking up there, so welcome aboard! I like your decorating style! This table is quite relaxed but a perfect picture of Spring! I was at Home Goods just yesterday and spied the bowls that I think match your pretty pink plates. There were only 4, so I hit up 2 more TJ Maxx stores hoping to find more. That’s the down side about Home Goods/TJ Maxx…never enough! I like the combination of colors that really bring out the best of Spring in your tablescape, and the egg stand is really cute! Spring will be here before we know it, and it looks like you’re all ready for it! Have a good weekend, and don’t forget to “Spring Forward”!

Julie, this is wonderful! I love the darling egg stand and what an awesome deal you got! The Spode transferware is so pretty with the other colors, like the pink plates. I love that Spode pattern, it’s one of my faves. Beautiful table setting! XO
