It felt so good to get my laundry room organized that I think I’m going to keep on with the 14-week challenge and move on to the linen closet in my master bathroom.
I can hear it calling my name.
It’s not that it’s uncontrollably messy, it’s just that the space is not being maximized.
The arrow is pointing to a drop-down door that is open to the area below for holding dirty laundry. I like to keep dirty laundry sorted in laundry baskets in my master closet so, obviously, I’m using this area for storage instead.
As you can see, this organizing project is going to require putting in a new shelf to start using the wasted space. And, I have some other ideas as to how to best use the space in the laundry hamper. They may or may not materialize right away but, if I really put some thought into it, I’ll bet I can come up with a way to efficiently increase this storage space — love it!!
I’m pretty excited about these ideas! To be totally honest…getting organized makes me almost giddy! There’s nothing like a good purge, a thorough cleaning and a few trips to The Container Store to make this girl happy.
By the way, I’ve been peaking in to my laundry room all day to enjoy the clean, tidy view. Yes, I know I’m weird.
